Image Chef Test

Here is an template that I played around with in ImageChef.  I'm reading Love That Dog, by Sharon Creech right now in LIBS 642.  Some of the poetry in that book is displayed in the shape of the subject of the poem.  I think it is a great visual tool. Students can write short poems, and use ImageChef to create poetic art!

  3. Fits very well with Love That Dog as a class activity. Love that book ;-) and I'm glad it is still part of 642.

  4. Great idea! This would be a great way to incorporate using powerful adjectives to describe something instead of generic ones like "happy, sad, etc."

  5. I did not even connect this to shape poetry when using the website. Poetry is a concept that students do not always enjoy. What a fun way to make poetry enjoyable!

  6. This is such a cool way to get children to write! I think I'm going to try to do something like this with my class.
